The Double Tower climbing frame is designed mainly with medium to large sized gardens in mind. At Play Crazy we cater to every size garden with single tower play frames for smaller gardens through to triple or quadruple or more climbing frames for those who are lucky enough to have space.
Kid’s playsets can be a perfect way of getting your little ones out in the garden for fresh air and exercise. Outdoor toys such as climbing frames can be a great way for children to stay fit and healthy whilst bringing them years of fun too.

For example with a double tower climbing frame, the two play forts can be joined together with either a rope bridge, monkey bars and other activities. This can join the two upper playhouses of the play towers so children can move between them without climbing down one and back up the other.
Monkey bars can be quite a challenging activity so are more suited to older children or confident climbers. Monkey bars allow kids to develop their coordination skills and strength as well as climbing skills and confidence. However, if you have small children this may be a bit daunting so you can always opt for a rope bridge instead.

To maximise the stability of our double tower wooden playsets, they are designed to sink into the ground and can be concreted in place once built. The strong legs of the play towers and the legs of some accessories such as wooden swing sets or monkey bars can also be concreted into the ground.
Our play frames are concreted in the ground to ensure any movement in the playset is minimal, therefore enhancing their stability and safety. Play Crazy climbing frames can sit on top of a surface like grass, as do other playsets from manufacturers such as Selwood Products and Plum climbing frames, however the stability of Play Crazy play frames will be reduced when they are not concreted into the ground.
The play decks of the Play Crazy play forts can either be railed around the edge, partially enclosed or fully enclosed like a wooden playhouse. The play deck obviously needs to have walls or rails to keep kids safe but it can also include a solid wooden roof on top or not. Our play towers are designed to be roofed but can be left open if you would prefer. You may even choose to have one play fort with a roof and one without.
Rooves do provide a certain amount of handy protection however, such as from wind and rain and also from direct sunlight when children are playing on the play decks so are a good option for most.
